Global Recloser Solutions

Manufacturing

Nu-Lec's manufacturing operations use leading-edge processes and allow for flexible responses to meet customers' needs.

'Lean' manufacturing techniques have been introduced, supported by the Schneider Electrical worldwide lean manufacturing program. These techniques improve quality, eliminate waste and reduce production time, resulting in highly competitive costs for customers and faster delivery times.

An important foundation for the manufacturing operation is Nu-Lec's strong relationships with approved raw material suppliers, helping control costs and ensure supplies.

As well as producing Nu-Lec's standard range, the operations division works very closely with the Research & Development team to assess customers' special requests and to find ways to provide cost effective solutions.

Over 100 people work in Nu-Lec's manufacturing operations in Brisbane. Specialised work teams participate in continuous improvement processes and staff are justifyably proud of the consistent quality and responsive delivery times they achieve.
